Gimnastica gravidei se practica incepand cu saptamana 12 de sarcina si cu acordul medicului ginecolog. Kinetoterapia pentru gravide se bazeaza pe exercitii care mentin si cresc tonusul muscular fara sa te oboseasca. Modificarile fiziologice de sarcina impun limitarea efortului fizic, astfel gravidelor le sunt recomandate anumite tipuri de exercitii. Scopul exercitiilor este sa relaxeze gravida, nu sa o extenueze! Masajul este de asemenea un mijloc de a te relaxa ,imbunatateste starea generala si reduce discomfortul cauzat de durerile de spate.
